Book Description:

Answers that she must find… A truth that he can’t escape…And ghosts up to no good…

Being a demi-god has its privileges. For the young nymph, Starling Jackson, it means the gift of seduction and more than that—near immortality. Yet, when her life is filled with spirits, immortality may not be all it’s cracked up to be.

With the help of her bodyguard, Jasper Gray, and secret books left to her by her late-mother’s friend, she may have found the answer to all of her problems. First, they must find a way to locate the books in their enemy’s hotbed all while staying safe and most importantly—without falling in love.

In the battles between the head and the heart and enemies and friends, tough decisions must be faced—and sacrifices made.

Describe yourself what is your worst and vest quality?

I take things on the chin, learn quickly, and for good or bad I never let anyone control me.

What is the one thing you wish other people knew about you?

I’m softer and more sensitive than I let the outside world know.

What is your biggest secret something no one knows about?

The dead talk to me. Sometimes I can control it and sometimes I can’t, but it still sometimes freaks me out.

What are you most afraid of?

The malicious dead.

What do you want more than anything?

To have control over my life.

What is your relationship status?

Single. Who would want a boyfriend when there are a million other things to take care of?

How would you describe your sense of fashion?

Whatever I can buy secondhand.

How much of a rebel are you?

*Wicked Smile* I was born to be a rebel.

What do you considered to be your greatest achievement?

Recently I lost my mother to a murderer. I have to say that learning to accept her death and learning what I can from everything that has happened has proven to be more of an achievement than I ever intended.

What is your idea of happiness?

A quiet morning… one without ghosts.

What is your most treasured possession?

My composition notebook.

What is your most marked characteristic?

I have black hair and blue eyes… and I can shape-shift into a black swan.

What is it that you, most dislike?

Liars and manipulators. Why can’t people just say what they mean?

Which living person do you, most despise?

I’m learning to deal with my dislike of the Catharterians (or vulture shape-shifters).

What is your greatest regret?

Not getting to my mom in time to save her life.

What is the quality you most like in a man?

Someone who is strong and will stand beside me—not in my way.

Which living person do you most admire?

I admire my father, Chance Landon and his new wife Harper Cygnini.

If you could change one thing about yourself what would it be?

I would have better control over my gift.
