The story continues a year after Anna became the queen of the Nephilim people. Anna is battles the love trio between the two brothers, but as time passes her mate in revealed. But a new threat have risen to throw Anna’s life into turmoil. Her ex brother in law, now vampire, is killing off those close to her to lure her out and take her for himself. Will her mate be able to save her, or will she fail into the clutches of the now rogue vampire.

Wow, Anna have a few problems on her plate this time. I have to say that this heroine is starting to grow on me. I can’t help but to continue on with her story to find out if she can beat all the odds against her and fulfill her destiny. She is strong, loyal and compassionate. But she also make mistakes just like all of us. I simply love her.

Eli had me frustrated all over again. Pure Alpha male he is just damn right out stubborn. I love her protective nature and the possessive claim he has over Anna. His all the drooling Alpha male we all want to read about, but, he can also drive you crazy in the progress.

The author have insured for a few hold your breath moments in the second edition to this series. There was a time that I almost started to panic for Anna’s sake. But sure enough the Nephilim world surprised me again. Well-deserved 5 stars from me.
