Gargoyle Addiction by Livia Olteano
Ever wanted to reach into a book a snatch that yummy, glorious, dead sexy hunk? Might want to re-think that, especially if your genre’s is paranormal or fantasy.

Karla had a rather boring and alone life. She has a best friend, a job and a house. Yeah sure it’s boring but she had her books to keep her company at home. On her birthday her friend surprise her with an ARC of her favorite paranormal romance series. That night she starts reading this arc and falls asleep, yearning for one of the characters.

When she wakes up, he was there to greet her in real life. Dead sexy, drop dead glorious with gargoyle skin and teeth. Her world was about to go wrong in a supernatural way.

I loved this novel! Yeah we all do this, wishing you could pull that book boyfriend out of the pages right into reality. But what happens when he is a supernatural creature? How are you going to fit in this supernatural being with his supernatural appetite and appearance? I mean we are talking about the human world were we freak out if the guy next door is wearing a dog collar for a necklace. Yeah, you’re getting the picture. This novel will have me biting my tongue in the future and thinking twice.

Karla has to deal with Kann the gargoyle in her human world and trust me that’s not easy, especially if he eats everything including bears. Don’t get me wrong, the passion between them sparks off and goes supernova but with it comes reality. Karla finds out that she too isn’t just your ordinary bookaholic, and when she has to take Kann back to his world discovers even more.

Will you leave everything behind and go to another world where you know nothing, is part off the menu and oh really popular, all in the name of love? I was fascinated with Karla’s journey and found myself transfixed with her situations. She soon goes from ordinary to I will kick your butt if you try. But when her new world just wants to kill or eat you, there isn’t much of a choice.

Kann was the stubborn alpha male, denying he had a soft side and may possibly love Karla more than anything else. But you know guys; they always have to drive you insane before submitting. But he was such a treat, and you will also love the big idiot.

A very interesting plot from start to finish and a well-deserved five stars from me. I hope we read more about these two and their worlds.

Gargoyle Addiction
Otherworlds Summons Book One
Livia Olteano
Genre: New Adult (Spicy!) Paranormal Romance
Expected Publication: July 15 2013

Book Description:

Summonari don’t trust. Under their command, they summon any number of creatures from the Otherwolds—but never trust them outside of the summoning.

Gargoyles don’t love. Fierce descendants of dragons, they function on power and fear—never love.

Karla isn’t the happily-ever-after type of girl. No territory-hungry guy is going to stick flags all over her unclaimed grounds.

Kann’s world is death and betrayal. As Dar Primus of Haus Varis, he’s expected to follow tradition but he’s not your regular gargoyle. In fact, he’s anything but.

One fateful Friday night, Otherworlds collide. Stuck together in one world or another, Karla and Kann face everything from Awakenings and turbulent love to Festnavals and bloodthirsty scorned suitors.

If there’s one thing they can’t escape, it’s the addiction to each other. And they’ve got it bad.
