Saving people is FBI Agent Kaitlyn Rivers drug of choice. That's not the only thing she loves about her job. The sexual tension is mounting between Kaitlyn and her alpha boss, Agent Joel Connor. Assigned into an undercover operation to stop a serial child abductor with the pathetic Cole Sommers, Kaitlyn is silently thrilled when Cole is forced off the case and Joel steps in.
Intense romance, steamy sex scenes, and a nail-gripping case that will attract fans of crime dramas and thrillers. This action-packed erotica is sure to leave you pleased three times over!
I swallow anxiously, my heart racing at lightning speed in my chest. "I never do as I'm told. You should know that." We've had our own share of disagreements and butting heads in the past. This feels different, hotter, sexier. I feel my insides ache for release. Will he give it to me or tease me into submission?
Joel's hand slides beneath my back. His warm touch startles and arouses me. I feel his leg move between mine and his knee climb closer to my groin, adding enough pressure to elicit a moan. I don't know what will happen tonight and for the moment I don't care. I want him, more than I've ever wanted anything in my life.
"Bad girls get spanked," Joel whispers into my ear and flips me onto my stomach. Before I have time to respond or fight back, I feel his hands at my sides pulling down my pants and underwear, just enough to expose my bare flesh.
Finding love in all the wrong places.
When a serial rapist and murderer targets women on an online dating website, FBI Agent Leslie Hunter must pose as a potential match at a bar. How hard could it be? She’s been dating online for years.
While undercover, Leslie meets a handsome gentleman. She can’t tell Kevin her profession without ruining the investigation. How long can she keep this man out of danger without revealing she’s an FBI Agent?
A taste of pole dancing, phone sex, and spankings combined with a lick of danger. A romantic erotica story that’s sure to leave your heart racing and pleased afterwards.
“Hey sexy.” I hear Kaitlyn’s voice and my eyes widen glancing up, as the dancers are once again on the bar.
“Kai?” I can’t stop myself from calling her by name. I’ve always seen the dark-haired agent in a pants suit, one rare occasion a skirt. This is something else entirely.
Kevin removes his drink from the bar. “You know the dancer?”
Kaitlyn is up there wearing nothing more than a red g-string bikini. Her brunette locks cascade down her back and her makeup looks like a hooker must have put it on her. She’s got thick turquoise eyeliner and lime green glittery eye shadow.
“Long story. We used to work together.” It’s not a lie but in the way Kevin’s mind is ticking, he must think I had been an exotic dancer. Not the case! Though, what harm could come from him believing it to be true? It is safer for everyone, than Kevin knowing I’m working undercover.
Kevin laughs and his cheeks redden. I’m guessing it’s the beer. He’s looking over Kaitlyn a little too intimately and long for my pleasure.
“Quite a story, I bet,” Kevin says. “Maybe you can share it on our second date?”
Did you always wanted to be a writer? If not what did you want to be?
I always loved writing but I thought of it more as a hobby not a career choice. Before being a writer, I was a professional photographer.
When did you first consider yourself a “writer”?
In college when I was penning stories with my best friend across the Pacific. She lives in Australia and we'd write together, daily.
How long did it take to get your first book published?
About 2-3 months of quering agents and publishers I had a few offers!
Do you do another job except for writing and can you tell us more about it? Nope!
I'm a full-time writer.
What is the name of your latest book, and if you had to summarize it in less than 20 words what would you say?
Dating Wars is the latest book in the Federal Agent Chronicles. It highlights online dating disasters along with a nail-biting case.
Who is your publisher? Or do you self-publish?
Blushing Books is my publisher for romance novels.
How long does it usually take you to write a book, from the original idea to finishing writing it?
The shortest romance I've written is three days for a rough draft. It was a lot of intense writing. On a good week I can complete a romance novel. Lately it takes 2-3 weeks because of distractions.
What can we expect from you in the future? ie More books of the same genre? Books of a different genre?
I've got quite a few different series out that are romance. Palace Secrets is a historical erotica. Gem Apocalypse is a dystopian erotica series and will feature a spin-off, as soon as I get around to writing it! There's also the Federal Agent Chronicles (this series) that so far has four books written and at least two more in mind.
What genre would you place your books into?
Romantic Erotica
How long have you been writing?, and who or what inspired you to write?
I started writing poetry in high school. Usually I was inspired by shitty dates and bad romance.
Do you have a certain routine you have for writing? ie You listen to music, sit in a certain chair?
Yes! I always need the room absolutely quiet. From there I prefer sitting in my recliner with my feet up. The more relaxed I am, the faster I can write.
Do you choose a title first, or write the book then choose the title?
It depends on the novel. Most of the time the title comes last, but on occasion I have a title in mind when I start writing.
Do you decide on character traits (ie shy, quiet, tomboy girl) before writing the whole book or as you go along?
Before writing. I have a style sheet so main characters are already developed. Some of the side characters get a little more developed as I write.
Your favorite color is?
Red.
Ravyn writes romantic erotica. She began writing romance novels in college, spending her down time either reading a book or writing fiction. Please don’t make her choose between the two, she loves them equally.
Although BURNING DESIRE is her debut romantic erotica novel, it is not her first published book. She has been published professionally since 2013. You can find her other books here.
